People are hearing from spirits plain and simple. The vast majority of the thoughts of people do not actually belong to them. There is no such thing as a “inner voice” either. The brain doesn’t just come alive like some sort of weirdo alien body part and decide to attack and terrorize the person it lives in. This is ridiculous.
